Wolters Eby

Wolters Bedell Eby, Major, US Air Force Retired, 89, died on Monday, April 26, 2010. He was born July 13, 1920 in Tulsa, Oklahoma the son of Virgil C. and Edna (Williams) Eby. In 1942 he entered the Military retiring in 1965. He married Louise Ashley Hagar June 22, 1946 in Claremore, Oklahoma. They were married for 60 years when she died on January 13, 2007. After his military retirement he and Ashley made their home in Neosho, Missouri for a number of years until returning to Tulsa six years ago. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by his son, Eric Eby. He is survived by his daughter: Jessica Stowell and her husband Fred of Tulsa; daughter-in-law Elizabeth Eby; Grandchildren, Christopher Beleele of Portland, OR, Staff Sergeant Benjamin Beleele stationed in South Korea and Airman 3rd Class Valerie Eby stationed in Biloxi, MS; a great grandchild: Cassidy Beleele of Portland, OR. Friends may call at Ninde Woodland Funeral Home, 5757 S. Memoriasl, from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday. A graveside service with military honors will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 1st in Memorial Park cemetery. The family requests that memorials be made to the United Service Organization (U.S.O.), P.O.
