Wilma Jane Rinkel
August 29, 1929 – July 7, 2015
Wilma Jane Rinkel, 85, returned peacefully to her Lord and Savior on July 7, 2015. She was
preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Howard in 2012.
She is survived by her four children: Thomas Gray of Independence, KS; Deanna and David Hargrove; Paul and Melodee Rinkel and Becky McCracken, all of Tulsa. Jane was a beautiful loving mother, grandmother of
fifteen, great-grandmother of six and friend of many.
Jane was very active in her church, Trinity United Methodist, her sorority Beta Sigma Phi, and the family home was the place all family activities were held. A gifted, caring, generous woman to all who knew her, she was always there to help anyone at anytime.
The family will greet friends Friday from 6-8:00 p.m. in the Ninde Brookside Funeral Home.
Funeal service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Southern Hills United Methodist Church.

My condolences to Deanna and to the family. I remember Mrs. Rinkel as a dedicated homemaker for not just her children, but her extended family. She was a very talented seamstress who taught Deanna and me how to sew by starting us with Kleenex "purses" that we hand-stitched. My favorite memory, however, centered around Halloween. One year, Mrs. Rinkel dressed up as a witch, and when hapless trick or treaters rang the doorbell, Mrs. Rinkel would pop her head out of a bathroom window that overlooked the porch. She managed to scare the bejeebers out of me and I'm sure many others that night! May your memories of both your parents offer you comfort in this difficult time.

Sympathy and prayers for the family. Although. we are 1st cousins we were not well aquinted but I remember Tommy from when we were children and visited Uncle Otis and Aunt Ela on the farm.

I am so sorry to hear about your mom! She was always so nice and friendly at all of our get together. She was always so warm and reaching out to people. I am very sorry we will not be able to attend; but, please know you will be in our prayers. One thing I had in common with your mom and didn't know it until I was ready her obit, We are sorority sisters!!!! I am a member of Beta Sigma Phi also. I thought that was neat!!!
