Obituary
William Richard “Rick” Grimshaw was born August 5, 1949 in Tulsa, OK to William Ray & DeeDee (Erickson) Grimshaw and passed from this life July 21, 2021 at the age of 71.
Rick loved the Sooners and the author Jim Harrison. He was a fair guitar player and a music lover. On that note the family says, Go rest high on that mountain, brother.
Rick is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Drew Grimshaw; and his sister, Kristin Grimshaw. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Eric & Shannon Grimshaw; his niece and her husband, Paige & Alex Pruitt; and their daughter, Emma Pruitt.
A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 29, at Memorial Park Cemetery.

I met Rick in 1975 when I moved to Boulder from Tulsa to attend school at CU. We had a lot of fun back then and granted at times were a bit crazy indeed. Will always have fond memories of his contagious laughter and smile. Rest in peace brother. Tom Grant
