William John Patterson
Obituary
William John Patterson passed from this life on Friday, November 6, 2015 at his home in Ketchum, OK. He was 65.
The son of John Alexander Patterson, Jr. and Violet Patterson, née Feare, Bill was born in Chicago, IL on August 15, 1950 and grew up in Springfield, MO. He graduated from Parkview High School (‘68) and later went on to attend the University of Tulsa and Southwest Missouri State University.
Bill received his Juris Doctorate from The University of Tulsa and worked as a criminal defense attorney in Tulsa and its surrounding areas up until his passing. He also served in the Navy and was honorably discharged.
Bill enjoyed riding motorcycles (and taking long road trips on them) and boating on Grand Lake. He was also known among friends for his Super Bowl parties and his general love of sports.
He is survived by his children, Alexander Ryan Patterson of Tulsa and Shannon Haley Patterson of Stillwater and his sister, Linda Patterson Hoffman of Paola, KS.

Bill's famuily and children are in my prayers. I enjoyed Bill's friendship in the 80's and since moving back from Florida I went to see Bill at Grand Lake on several occasions. He always mentioned his children and was proud of them. I will miss the future times that I was looking forward to with Bill at Grand.
