William Hoge

William "Bill" V. Hoge was born March 9, 1922 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Thomas Earl and Edith Mae (Myers) Hoge and passed from this life June 16, 2009 after a short illness at the age of 87. Bill served in the Army Air Corps during World War II and upon an honorable discharge he worked for American Airlines for 35 years. Bill belonged to Westminster Presbyterian Church for 54 years. His hobbies included square dancing, gunsmithing, hunting and gardening. Preceded in death by his parents, his brother Earl Thomas and grandson Jason Hoge, Bill is survived by his wife of 62 years, Edna "Edie" (Borg) Hoge; his sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Sandy Hoge and Leigh and Leta Hoge; seven grandchildren Will, Stephanie, Brittany, Chloe, Matthew, Zackary and Bonner as well as a host of friends. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at the Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel.
