Obituary
Wendy Leigh Hunter of Tulsa (formerly of Enid) passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at St. John’s Medical Center in Tulsa, OK at the age of 51.
Wendy was born in Big Spring, TX to Garry Lee Rains and Ernalea (Adams) Rains-Hunter, both who preceded her death. She was the adored mother to her precious daughter Ashley Sky Hunter. Also survived by two sisters, April Rains (Glenn) King of Cantonment, FL, Gina Rains (Robert) Adams of Tulsa, OK; two brothers, Monte Edward (Chelsea) Hunter of Enid, OK, Josh Daniel Rains of Snyder, TX; nieces and nephews, Braden, Anthony & Tayven Rains of Enid, OK, Ayrton and Adrianna Adams of Tulsa, OK.
Wendy loved everyone and without judgment. She enjoyed spending time with her family, wine, pottery and having a good time. She will be remembered for her positive outlook on life. Wendy never missed the opportunity to let people know she loved them, in her sweet way of saying, “I love you guys.”
Wendy’s celebration of life will be held in Tulsa, November 7th from 1:30-4 pm at Central Center at Centennial Park, 1028 E. 6th Street in Tulsa, OK. Lunch is provided prior to the service by Lambrusco’z To Go and the program will begin at 2:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made in her honor to the charity of your choice.
