Obituary
Wanda Louise Willhite was born on March 16, 1949 in Tulsa, OK to Roma and Hazel Louise (Anderson) Hancock. Wanda passed from this life on Monday, September 27, 2021 at her home in Broken Arrow at the age of 72.
Wanda attended Daniel Webster High School growing up and was a retired records clerk for Cancer Care.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Willhite of the home; a daughter, Angela Tunnell-Tohlen and husband, Jason of Broken Arrow, OK; sons, Bennie Tunnell and wife, Stephanie of Oakhurst, OK and Michael Tunnell and wife, Shannon of Broken Arrow, OK; grandchildren: Kedrin Tunnell and wife, Nicole, Brittney Ogans and husband, Rod, Kyle Fisher and wife, Debbie, Alison Tunnell, Callie Ellis and husband, Jerrod, Brynna Tunnell, Bryce Tohlen, Bennie “Trey” Tunnell and great grandchildren: Makayla Tunnell, Kaibryn Ogans, Logan Tunnell, Kaylean Fisher, Kasen Fisher and Kayzel Fisher; brothers, Bobby and Jerry Hancock and a sister, Linda Wolf all of Tulsa, OK. She also leaves behind many much-loved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Roma Hancock, Hazel and Orbey Childers; great grandson, Haden Lee Tunnell; sister, Shirley Stephenson; brothers, Leon and Ray Hancock and a half-brother, Romie Hancock.
The family will receive friends 5-7PM Thursday at the Ninde Brookside Funeral Home. Rev. Willard Davis will officiate the memorial service 10:00 A.M. Friday, October 1, 2021 at the Ninde Brookside Chapel, 3841 S. Peoria, Tulsa, OK. Interment to follow in Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.

I worked with Auntie Wanda, at CCA that’s what I called her. We always laugh together talking about other people in a funny way. Then the last time I seen Auntie Wanda at Ocsri I gave her a big hug. Still remember that smile she will be missed. My Aunt Wanda, she will be very much missed Cynthia ( Marsha’s niece, we all worked at CCA)
