Obituary
Wanda Jean (Robins) Harris was born March 1, 1935 in Gatesway, AR and passed from this life on February 11, 2018 at the age of 82. Wanda was adopted by Micah Moon and Amith Landers at a young age learning to work the family farm. She met and married Jerold Lee Harris in her teens and together they sought a life of faith and family. Ordained and set out by Grace Fellowship she and her husband founded Restoration Outreach and told the Good News throughout their lifetimes through Gospel, singing and living the life.
There was nothing Wanda enjoyed more than her family gathering from whatever corner of the world they lived in. She would prepare huge farm meals whether on the farm or not and revel in the laughter, storytelling and sharing.
Wanda is preceded in death by her beloved husband and is survived by her son, Geoffrey L. Harris; her daughter and son-in-law, Marla & Leslie Barrett; her sister, Rosa Lea Holbrook; her cousins Nancy Ellen Schneberger and Bonnie Anderson; her grandson, Matthew; and her two great grandsons, Maddox and Paxton.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday with the family receiving friends from 5-7 p.m. and her funeral will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, all at the Ninde Brookside Funeral Home and Chapel.

So sorry to read of Wanda’s passing. One of my cherished memories is Micah Moon, my Dad, and my sisters gathered around Wanda playing the piano with everyone singing hymns. Wanda would say let’s sing a fast one and we would sing, “Just a Little Talk With Jesus” Wanda was such a Godly lady.

Aunt Wanda is someone I looked forward to seeing any time I came to Tulsa. I cherished listening to her play her xylophone and piano. I never heard her say a negative word about anyone, and she led by example. She was nothing but supportive. She had the gift of encouragement.********SPECIAL MEMORY: going to a Chinese restaurant in Owasso with her on more than one occasion.*******

I loved Wanda! She was as sweet as she looks, but could be a little firecracker if you hit the right buttons. Sister Harris would play the xylophone, and I would play the guitar, was such a blast. My heart is with you, the family. Life isn't forever, not here, but we sure don't want to let go. May you be comforted, and cherish the time you had, and the time you have with others.
