Obituary
Verna Mae (Dandridge) Stockton was born December 21, 1927 in Porum, OK to Sheridan & Pearl Lee (Dunn) Dandridge and passed from this life February 24, 2017 in Shawnee, OK at the age of 89.
After graduating high school Verna worked her way through Business College. She then worked at Cooper Tire Company until her retirement. She loved to knit, crochet and work in her yard.
Verna Mae was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Grover Cleveland Stockton, Jr.; her sister, Iva Lee Phillips; and her brother, William Dandridge. She is survived by her sisters, Maxine Sexton, Aliece Masingale, Martha Yancy, Dorothy Jeffrey and Jeanie Kern; and her brothers, Morris Dandridge and Harold Dandridge.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner, OK.
