Tom Alley

Dr. Tom J. Alley, DDS passed away Tuesday May 19, 2009. He was born July 11, 1931, in Pauls Valley, OK to William H. and Opal M. Alley. He moved to Tulsa with his parents and brother, William J. Alley, and graduated from Tulsa Central High School with the class of 1949. He attended the University of Oklahoma where he was a member of the Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. He graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder and joined the United States Air Force. He received his wings in Bartow, FL after which he was stationed at Ellsworth Air Force base in Rapid City, SD. He was a B52 Pilot, and was part of the Lead Crew for Strategic Air Command. He married Billie Jean Travis November 23, 1956 and moved to Kansas City, MO to attend dental school. He graduated from the University of Missouri Dental School in 1965 and moved to Tulsa, OK to start his dental practice. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother. He is survived by his four children Jeff Alley, Tom Alley, Jennifer Green, Shawn Alley and 7 grandchildren, Travis Alley, Matt Green, Elizabeth Green, Blake Alley, Piper Alley, Will Alley and Emily Alley.
