Thomas Archibald

Thomas Archibald passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2017 at the age of 98.  Tom was born in Denison, Texas on October 21, 1918, the 2nd of 3 sons to David C. and Esther L. (Thomas) Archibald.  He was raised in McAlester, Oklahoma.  He went to work for Oklahoma Natural Gas Company in Oklahoma City with whom he played company baseball.  The gas company moved him to Tulsa where he met the love of his life, Alberta Ahrens.  Later in life he was a commercial building contractor. 

He is preceded in death by his wife, both brothers; a son, Thomas and a grandson, Jeffrey.  He is survived by a son, Walter D. (Nancy) of Lawton, 2 daughters: Ann Byrd of Tulsa and Jane Thomas (Mark) of Katy, Texas, 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
