Davis, Thelton Trent, 67, was born July 13, 1939 in Floyda, Texas to his parents Trenton T. and Evelyn M. (Hamilton) Davis. Having never married Thelton gave his attention and devotion to scholastic pursuit with three years of college, career, and family. He spent over twenty years working for a Amarillo newspaper serving them in many different positions. He is preceded in death by his father, Trenton T. Davis. He is survived by his mother, Evelyn Davis of Tulsa and his sister Sharron Welborn, also of Tulsa. Graveside services are 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at Memorial Park Cemetery. Ninde Garden.
