Obituary
Thelma Jean Bruner was born August 8, 1932 in Tulsa to Gordon and Jennie Lenora (Nunn) Cook. A life-long Tulsa resident, she passed from this life Saturday, February 27, 2010 at the age of 77.
Thelma Jean was a graduate of Will Rogers High School and received her Bachelor's of Science degree from the University of Tulsa. She met Charles William "Bill" Bruner and they were married in 1967. Thelma Jean worked as a speech pathologist for Children's Medical Center for 20 years.
Thelma Jean was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her husband of 42 years, Bill, of the home.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, March 5, 2010 at University United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute in Thelma Jean's memory to their favorite charity.
