Ted Rardin

Ted C.W. Rardin, Sr. was born January 21, 1937 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Denzle Allen and Rosa Marie (Stotts) Rardin. He passed from this life on October 1, 2008 at the age of 71. Ted put his considerable skills as a blacksmith to work fabricating steel springs working for Tulsa Auto Springs for over 30 years. It was said that Ted had the unique ability to create any metal spring or device to address any problem.

He is preceded in death by his parents and survived by his wife of 54 years, Doris June (Goodman) Rardin; his daughters, Linda and her husband John Ogle, Kathy and her husband Charles Wheeler and Marcella and her husband Ron Massy; his sons, Daniel and his wife Robbie Rardin and Teddy C.W. Rardin, Jr. and his wife Angela; his brother, Bob Rardin; ten grandsons and 5 great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

A funeral service will be held Monday, October 6, 2008 at 2:00 pm. at Guiding Light Tabernacle, 1113 S. 51st West Ave, with his final resting place being Woodland Memorial Cemetery in Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
