Obituary
Ted was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on October 22, 1956 to Jay and Carol Ann (Jones) McCray.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Jay. He is survived by his only sister Sylvia Johnson and his nieces Kari Brewer and husband Mike, Susie Wooldridge and husband Rick, Kathy Piersall and husband Colby and nephew Jay McCray II. He was the Great Uncle to Brittney Snoddy, Tyler Snoddy, MacKenzie Piersall, Grant Brewer, Emily Wooldridge, Miles Piersall and Wyatt Piersall and the Great-Great Uncle to the one with the key to his heart, Laynie Paige..
Ted graduated high school in San Diego, California from Grossmont High and attended College at Grossmont Junior College.
Throughout his life, Ted enjoyed fishing, sports, cooking and family gatherings.
Ted's friends and family will forever treasure and miss his tender heart, quick wit, humor and giving nature.
While surrounded by all his girls, Ted went to be with the Lord on February 7, 2010 at the age of 53. Memorial service 2:00 P.M. Thursday Ninde Brookside Chapel. 918-742-5556
