Obituary
Sarah Elizabeth Schultz was born June 24, 1987 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Rick and Karen (Rebholz) Dodson. She passed from this life Friday June 21, 2019 while vacationing in Colorado.
Sarah was a 2006 graduate of Jenks High School; she then attended Southern Methodist University (Dallas, Texas) on a golf scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. While living in Dallas, Sarah met the love of her life, Kevin. They married in Tulsa in 2011. She pursued a career in real estate with Chinowth & Cohen; she carried the knowledge she gained there into further endeavors and became an integral part in assisting her father and husband in the day-to-day operations of Dodson Building Group. Business aside, Sarah’s greatest passion and joy came from being a devoted wife and loving mother. She had many other interests and talents: a great golfer, a designer, a Golden Retriever lover, an organizer, all with a knack for photography. But overall, her family and friends meant the most to her. Though her life was cut too short, she touched the lives of so many people during her time on this earth.
Sarah is survived by her husband, Kevin and their two children, Luke and Madison; her parents, Rick and Karen Dodson; her brother, Will Dodson, his wife, Kristen and their two daughters, Emma and Annie; her aunts, Marie Rebholz Chandler (Cameron), Nancy Dodson Geiser (Greg) and Carolyn Dodson Ferguson (Rick); her cousins, Hannah Geiser, Kelly Anna Geiser and Kit Ferguson.
A memorial service to celebrate Sarah’s life will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at Asbury Methodist Church, Mason Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Sarah Dodson Schultz to the Sooner Golden Retriever Rescue, www.soonergoldenrescue.org
