Samuel Patterson

Samuel Patterson was born January 6, 1969 in Chicago, IL to Joyce Ann Patterson and Frank Addison. He passed from this life on August 4, 2021 at the age of 52

Sam was a loving person, kind hearted, upbeat that never met a stranger. He worked for Goodwill Industries for 9 years. He never missed a day’s work until he was called home. He started his day with a smile and ended it with that same smile. His favorite saying was, “Big Money!”

“It’s okay to miss me, just know that I will never forget you. This is not a permanent goodbye.”

Preceded in death by his parents, Samuel is survived by his partner, Shakela Lewis; his daughter, Gloria Pitchford; his cousin, Ray & Ava Patterson; and his aunt Reda Patterson.

There will be a viewing at the Ninde Brookside Funeral Home, 3841 S. Peoria, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 11, 2021. A private family service will be held.
