Sally Ruth (Lindstrom) Noland

Sally Ruth Lindstrom Noland, 83, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away January 29, 2024, at her home with her four children providing comfort and love. She was born July 09, 1940, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Dr. William Carl Lindstrom, M.D. and Jane Blessing Lindstrom.

Sally was a life-long Tulsan who attended and graduated from Central High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She raised and loved four children. In her early fifties, she started a career in the medical industry as a Respiratory Therapist. She eventually retired from Tulsa’s St. Francis Hospital after thirty years of service.

Sally had a passion for college football, especially for OU. Winning Yard of the Month multiple times and working in her garden reflected her dedication and pride in creating and maintaining a beautiful and well-kept outdoor space at her home. Sally's love for outings to Cheesecake Factory with her daughters, especially to enjoy her favorite lemon drop martini, showed her appreciation for quality family time. Additionally, her artistic talents in painting, cross-stitch, and decorating showcased a creative and expressive side that added beauty to everything she crafted. Overall, Sally's diverse interests and the joy she found in various aspects of life paint a picture of a person who embraced each moment with enthusiasm and creativity, leaving a lasting impact on her surroundings and the people she shared her life with.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers William Lindstrom Jr., Jere Lindstrom, and Robert Lindstrom. She is survived by her younger sister Susan Everett, of Phoenix, Arizona; her two daughters, Stephanie Ruth Neagle, husband Michael, of Edmonds, Washington, Jennifer Lind Nightengale, husband Mark, of Tulsa; her two sons, George H. Noland II, wife Denise, of Claremore and David Alexander Noland, wife Jennifer, of Tulsa; her ten grandchildren, Gregory Montgomery, Kathryn Marranzino, Samuel Nightengale, Madeline Nightengale, Tobe Nightengale, Andrew Noland, Dalton Noland, Zachary Noland, Nicholas Noland, Audrey Noland; and her five great grandchildren.

There will be a private service held at a future date.
