Obituary
Sally Ruth (Christensen) Fly was born in Tulsa, OK on May 25, 1940, to Crawford Louis and Frances Ruth (Brandenburg) Christensen. She passed from this life on May 19, 2019 at the age of 78.
Sally graduated from Tulsa Edison High School in 1959. She worked as a dental education assistant for the Health Department in Tulsa and retired in 2004. She and her husband were members of Victory Christian Center for many years.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Melton “Jack” Larue Fly; her children and their spouses, Patty and Robert Keys, Donna and Jay Poth, and Richie and Rhonda Blythe, Jr.; 9 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
Sally will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 23 with family receiving friends from 5-7 p.m. and a memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 24 both at Ninde Brookside Funeral Home and Ninde Brookside Chapel, 3841 S. Peoria, Tulsa, OK.

Dear Fly family. I am so sorry to have read of the death of Sally. Please accept my sincere condolences. I would like to share something that I have personally found to be comforting. It is found in the Bible at John 5:28, 29 and Revelation 21:4. May God give you and your family comfort in His promise that soon we will never experience losing our loved ones in death and we will be able to see them again once they are resurrected. I am Jack’s niece, Karen McGregor, from Temple Tx where Jack is from. I had the pleasure of visiting several times with your mother and getting to know her as I would call to check on my uncle. She loved him very much and I know they had a lot of years together. I am so sorry for your loss but knowing that she is whole, healthy and walking with Jesus is the greatest comfort. May you all find strength and courage as you go forward in the coming days.....
