Obituary
ROSS ALLEN HAWKINS passed away April 22, 2015, at the age of 32. Ross was born March 30, 1983, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was the youngest son of Charles Quantrell Hawkins and Shirley Satterfield Janco Hawkins, both of Tulsa. He is survived by his parents; his daughter Roslyn Ayvonne Hawkins of Fort Benton, Montana; brother Steven Harris Janco and his wife, Sara, and their daughter, Abigail of Edmond, Oklahoma; brother Jay Robert Janco and his wife, Paige, and their sons Luke and Jack Janco of Roswell, Georgia; and brother David Nathan Janco and his wife, Mia, of Kansas City, Missouri and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his grandparents David Arthur Roach and his wife, Annetta Ayvonne Allen Hawkins Roach of Tulsa; Robert Samuel Satterfield and his wife, Evelyn Juanita “Nene” Wilkerson Satterfield of Tulsa; and Nathan Janco and his wife, Agnes Harris Janco of Tulsa.
Ross graduated from Thomas Alva Edison High School in Tulsa where he played football and tennis and was a Tulsa Opera Squire. He earned an Associate’s Degree in Health Sciences and Business Management from Oklahoma State University. Ross was an Aerobics Instructor and Personal Trainer, a Senior Fitness Instructor, a Sports Nutritionist and an Assistant Manager with LABOR READY. An avid body builder, Ross competed in the Mister Oklahoma and Mister Montana Body Building Championships. Ross loved to travel and visited many European countries. Ross was deeply religious and blessed with a loving and cheerful personality, superior verbal and written communication skills, and sales and employee relations. Ross was a member of Boston Avenue United Methodist Church and Guts Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
A private family memorial service presided by Reverend David Wiggs was held in his memory at Boston Avenue United Methodist Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Ross will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.

What can I say brother, I love you more than words can ever express. You were and always will be my brother. We laughed, cried, loved, and grew together bro. You know people say that you find that person in life that you were meant to look up to as a person in general because of the light they shine...you were that from day one bro. I was leaving work yesterday and caught myself about to call you and chat like we did a lot when either one of us was on our way to work or on our way from work...but I couldn't. Ross, I first heard of you through my future husband. It was made clear that a) you meant the world to Jonathon and b) you would be a huge part of our lives. That was an underestimate. You were there for our wedding, Jonathon joining the Navy. Our daughters knew you as Uncle Ross. We had the best times with you. We loved you from day one (like most people did). Life is like a river, we are all just passing through.. carving our way through rocks and sand, different valleys and peaks.. eventually leading back to the Ocean in which the water must return.. life has a force that flows from one body to the next..we will eventually meet up once again, but until then you will be missed..a life force that lost its flow way to soon...it's just an un-fortunate fact of life..none of us will make it out alive..we all have to crossover sometime..just really wasn't expecting that to happen to him so soon.
