She was such a lovely woman, and I can only imagine how terribly she will be missed by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Dear Lee, The love that you and your siblings poured into your mother these last years has been a tribute and beautiful example of how a family is to take care of and love each other. Each time you prepared to return to Tulsa for a weekend w/Mom, you always had a fun adventure/outing planned. Thank you for the example your family has set for all of us in caring for our aging parents w/dignity. i pray that this be a tender and gentle time for each member of your family. At the park in North Little Rock that she enjoyed visiting as a child

I last saw Mrs. Buthod at my dad's funeral nearly 9 years ago now, which she attended with Barbara. They were both amazed that I could still rattle off the names in order of all 12 children (including Maureen) and Mrs. B recalled how she enjoyed hearing my piano practice as it wafted through the neighborhood on warm days when the door was open (I'm sure she was being kind). Of course, I remember some of the names in more detail - Ann Marie, Lee Butler, Tynan Charles... She was a loving and fiercely protective mother to her beloved brood (as I learned to my pain on a few occasions), but I and my family always had the highest respect and admiration for that amazing household. Such an interesting group, dividing sharply in personality between the hearty Irish and the more shall we say high maintenance French - or so I always felt, rightly or wrongly. At any rate, all who knew and loved her have my deepest sympathy.

Maggie and I send our condolences to the Family for this great loss. Since we came together about four years ago, Maggie brought me over to visit with Rosaleen and family several times. Rosaleen was always warm and friendly, and ever sharp as a tack. These visits were an enjoyable experience. She will be missed. As we say in the Navy, may she have fair winds and following seas on this journey.
