Robert Paul Bailey

Robert Paul Bailey was born March 12, 1943 in Muskogee, OK to Robert & Louise (Whipple) Bailey and passed from this life Thursday in Tulsa, OK at the age of 71.

Robert had a passion for racing in the 70’s and 80’s at Tulsa, Muskogee, and Caney, KS. He also loved to fish and camp. In his working career he held many positions. He worked aircraft repair at McDonnell Douglas in Tulsa, installed carpet for many years and worked as a property make ready/handyman. After he retired he couldn’t stay home so he started his own wrecker service.

Preceded in death by his parents Robert is survived by his wife of 38 years, Brenda Joyce (Poindexter) Bailey; his daughters, Paula Lynn Alexander, Tammy Lou Newton and husband Allen, and Bobbie Carol Kellogg; his son, Robert F. Bailey; 14 grandchildren; and numerous extended family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Ninde Brookside Funeral Home Chapel.
