Robert McAdoo

McAdoo, Robert William - was born on February 5, 1919 in Palo Alto, CA to Lewis and Lilian (Clemons) McAdoo. Bob died peacefully at Southern Hills Retirement Center in Tulsa on Sunday, December 5, 2010 at the age of 91 years. Bob received a BS Degree in Engineering from Vanderbilt University. He owned McAdoo Contracting Building and Supplies and in his later years became a Lay Minister for First United Methodist Church in Tulsa. Bob was predeceased by his parents; his daughter, Lynn Williamson and his brothers, James and Gene McAdoo. He is survived by wife Margie, of the home; his sons, David and John McAdoo, both of Smyrna, TN; his step-daughters, Melody Shields, of Tulsa, OK and Gwendy Watrous, of Ledyard, CT; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Memorial service 11:00 A.M. Thursday, December 9, 2010 at First United Methodist Church, 1115 S. Boulder Ave., Tulsa, OK. Private burial Memorial Park Cemetery.
