Phyllis Ann Carter

Phyllis Ann Carter, longtime Tulsa resident, passed away November 25, 2019.  She was born in Stroud, OK on May 17, 1935 to John Leslie & Willie Pearl (Heathman) Harmon.  Phyllis married Prentiss Carter on July 11, 1954 and they celebrated 65 years of marriage together.

Phyllis was a homemaker, loved to read Louise L ‘Amour books, was a St. Louis Cardinal baseball and O.S.U. fan.  She loved the Lord and serving at her church.  She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  Phyllis’ passing leaves a void in our lives but our memories will live on.

Preceded in death by her parents and her brother, George Harmon, Phyllis is survived by her husband; her three sons, Gary & Tiffany Carter, Larry & Cathie Carter and Les Carter; her sister, Alice Jeanne Bolton; 5 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 30 at the Ninde Brookside Chapel, 3841 S. Peoria.  She will be laid to rest following at the Sinnett Cemetery in Pawnee County.
