Phillip Day Wade, 75, died Tuesday, March 24, 2009. He was born October 16, 1933 in Tulsa the son of James Roy and Bess (Williams) Day.
He retired from Willbros where he was a draftsman. He married Mary Margaret Nickell on March 2, 1968. He was dearly loved by all of his family and friends.
Survivors: wife of 41 years, Mary; sister: Mrs. Patricia (Day) Esslinger of AZ; sisters-in-law, Julia A. Jordan and her husband William of Norman, OK, and Cora M. Hawkins of Bella Vista, AR; nephews: Brian Brady, Phillip L. Hawkins, Jeffrey S. Jordan and Sam E. Taylor, Jr.; nieces: Deirdre (Brady)Steele-Bodger, Kathryn Shively, Allyson Hawkins and Valerye Strochak; cousins:Margie and Bob Todd of Tulsa, Margie and Tom Nickell. Preceded in death by his sister: Dottie Day Brady.
