Paula Turley
Obituary
Paula Turley passed away on July 30, 2018. She was 77. Paula grew up in Tulsa and graduated from Rogers High School in 1958. She married her high school sweetheart, Jim Turley, and they raised two daughters.
Paula’s life was dedicated to her family. She was an incredible wife and mother. In later life, she was an adoring “Ghee” to three wonderful grandchildren. She was always happiest doing for and spending time with them. Paula was a fabulous cook, and loved hosting family holiday celebrations. She loved to play games and was an avid OU football fan. She loved dogs and had many throughout her life. Paula went out of her way to serve and comfort anyone (or any animal) who needed it. She was loved dearly by her family, friends, and neighbors. We are so thankful to have had her in our lives, and will miss her every day.
Paula was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jim Turley. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Sammie and Kevin Lackner, Kelli and Joe Schmidt, her grandchildren, Mackenzie Lackner, Sam and Sydney Schmidt, and her beloved dog, Scout.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 23, at 10:00 a.m. at Kirk of the Hills Chapel, 4102 East 61st Street in Tulsa.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Tulsa, 6232 E. 60th Street, 74135, or Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian Church.

So sorry to hear of Paula's passing.I had the opportunity to work with Paula at Key Elementary. It was so wonderful to walk in the main office and talk to Paula, because of her calm and kind demeanor. A few times i had the opportunity to visit with her at her home, and her hospitality was so genuine. She always talked to me about her grandchildren.
