Obituary
Pat Bishop was born November 3, 1927 in Davenport, OK to John Charles & Nora (Henry) Bishop and passed from this life on March 11, 2016 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 88.
Pat served in the US Army until August 1947. He worked for Sunray Mid-Continent Oil Company until he retired.
Pat was preceded in death by his parents; his wife June; his daughter, Suzanne Ash Kurtz; his step-son, Ronnie Edwards; and 8 brothers. He is survived by his sister, Juanita Bishop Ausbrook; his grandsons, Andrew Kurtz and Samuel Adam Kurtz; his step-grandchildren, Alicia Edwards-Kirk and Michael Edwards; 3 great grandchildren; and 17 nieces and nephews.
Graveside service 2:00 p.m. Friday, Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery, Sand Springs, OK.

So sorry for your loss. I knew Mr. Bishop when he was Dr. Mizell's patient. We took care of him for years. He was a great man. Even though he was in pain had a good sense of humor. I hope the family finds some comfort in the word in John 5:28,29.
