Norman Buford Nunley, 87, died on Monday, May 21, 2007 in the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mr. Nunley was born October 16, 1919 in Manchester, Tennessee the son of Norman and Nora (Travis) Nunley. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was employed for 43 years with the W.C. Norris Company (now Dover Corp.) as a machinist foreman. He married Eula Mae Goodwin on August 23, 1941 in Tulsa. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Eula Mae of the home; his son Rick Nunley of Edmond, OK; his Grandchildren: Joshua Bryan Nunley, Michelle Dawn Nunley and Alysen Nicole Nunley; his sister: Fannie Belle Maxwell of Atlanta, Georgia; his brother: Willard "Pete" Nunley of Owasso, OK. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Ninde Woodland Funeral Home, 5757 S. Memorial. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 23rd in the Parkland Baptist Church with his pastor, the Rev. Larry Adams, officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
