Norma J. Collier

Norma Joe (McGee) Collier was born September 3, 1942 in Tulsa, OK to August & Lenora (Doxey) McGee and passed from this life on September 8, 2020 at the age of 78.

Norma worked as a mailroom supervisor for Hillcrest Medical Center and was known for her strong work ethic which was only excelled by her private devotion to her Lord; reading her Bible and praying daily. She tirelessly gave herself to her church, volunteering, and laboring especially in the mission work.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James W. Collier; her siblings, Georgia Newton, Billie Brown, Harold Williams, Erma McClellam, Ernestine McGee and Shirley Cotton; and her great granddaughter, Nyella. She is survived by her daughters, Terri L. Jones and Tina McGee (Daniel); her grandchildren, Tashonna, Todd, Tevin and Charmetrea; and her great grandchildren, Tarrius, Tarriona, Tailyn, Todayceona, TyJhir and Terrya.

Norma will lie in state 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, September 13th at Ninde Brookside Funeral Home. Her graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, September 14th at Rolling Oaks Memorial Gardens.
