Norma Ethredge

Norma Ruth (Morgan) Ethredge was born January 22, 1924 in Holdenville, OK to Roy L. and Stella Morgan. She passed from this life Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at the age of 88. She was reared in Louisiana and Texas and was a graduate of Henryetta, OK High School. Norma worked in administrative positions with several oil related businesses. The highlights of her life were her children, her grandchildren and riding in a gondola in Venice, Italy on one of her journeys.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Maxine Morris, Sammie Le Allen, Mary Jo Allen; and, her brother, Jack Morgan. She is survived by her son, Mark Ethredge of Tulsa; daughter, Lynn Ethredge Morton and her husband, Jamie; granddaughters, Allie and Bo Jaden Morton all of Little Rock, AR; niece, Barbara Merritt and her husband, Otis and their children, Ashlee and John, all of Ninnekah, OK.

A celebration of life will be held 3:00 pm Friday, August 31, 2012 at Ninde Brookside Chapel. As Norma requested, please leave your black clothes and tears behind. Instead, wear bright colors and your widest smile. Send no flowers; contribute to your church or favorite charity.
