Obituary
Nellie Frye, 78 of Tulsa went to be with the Lord on January 21, 2013.
She was born on March 11, 1933 in Quinton, Oklahoma to Frank M. and Myrtle (Phipps) Manning.
Nellie attended Oklahoma State School for the Deaf in Sulfur, Oklahoma and is survived by her husband of 58 years, Donald Frye, four children, thirteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and three sisters.
Nellie enjoyed gardening. She had a love for growing fruits, vegetables and flowers in her yard. She was devout and would often go to the nursing homes, visiting elderly deaf people, praying over them and talking with them. Nellie was employed with the Bama Pie Company for 23 years before her retirement.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, she was also a great cook.
