Mildred White

Mildred Louise (Hendrickson) White was born September 16, 1918 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Burch Andrew and Ola May (Sechrist) Hendrickson and passed from this life February 16, 2009 at the age of 90.

In addition to raising her family Mildred held various positions in the work place and her community. She worked as a retail salesperson, assisted in a beautician's salon, did accounting for Yellow Cab and towards the end of her career served as an elder companion for those unable to assist themselves. There is a common thread among all that she employed her talents in.each was a service to her community. Her contribution will live on in the many lives that she touched.

Mildred is preceded in death by her parents, her sister, June Harrison, and her brothers, Gilbert and Leo Hendrickson. She is survived by her sons, Jack Farnsworth of Broken Arrow, OK, Robert Farnsworth of Dallas, TX and Burch Farnsworth of Tulsa, OK; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.

Mildred will lie in state from 10:00 a.m to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, both at Ninde Woodland Chapel. Final resting place, Memorial Park Cemetery.
