Mignon Templeton

Templeton, Mignon Goodwin, 98, died peacefully at her home on Wednesday, May 28, 2008. Born February 23, 1910 in Stratford, OK the daughter of William Uriah and Mary Elizabeth (Richards) Goodwin. She attended the University of Oklahoma where she pledged Kappa Alpha Theta. She made her home in Tulsa for many years where she was active in the First Presbyterian Church, Tulsa Boys Home, the Children's Day Nursery and was a docent at Philbrook Museum of Art. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years Robert B. Templeton in 1990 and her daughter Mignon Elizabeth Clayson in 2003. She is survived by her daughter: Faith Templeton Rountree of Tulsa; her grandchildren: Laura Rountree Bennison and her husband William of Denver, CO, Robert Charles Rountree of Boca Rotan, FL, Tana Mignon Moore of Kansas City, KS, Nancy M. Lewallen of Ft. Smith AR, Dorian Ewing Tatum of Jackson, MS and Vickie Ewing of Leadville, CO; five Great Grandchildren and five Great Great Grandchildren. There will be a private family service.
