Obituary
Mickey Ray Mulkey was born December 13, 1957 in Tulsa, OK to Marion Delmar & Eunice Modine (True) Mulkey and passed from this life on March 17, 2018 at the age of 60.
Mickey was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma attending Grimes Elementary, Nimitz Middle School and Mason High School. He then went on to further his education by attending Oklahoma State University (Go Pokes!) During these different phases of life he was able to make lifelong friendships that he now calls extended family. He and his twin brother, Rickey, were inseparable and you never had one without the other. He loved his family, friends, hunting, racing and Eric Clapton. Mickey will be unbelievably missed by so many.
Preceded in death by his parents Mickey is survived by his brothers, Rickey Lee Mulkey and Benny Delmar Mulkey and wife, Teresa; his nephews, Craig Mulkey, Keith Mulkey and wife, Shannon; his niece, Angela Record and husband Michael; his great nieces and nephews, extended family and numerous friends.
Mickey will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Ninde Brookside Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. A funeral will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Parkview Baptist Church. He will be laid to rest following at Memorial Park Cemetery.

To Rickey I am "Mrs. Broughton" your elementary gym teacher at Grimes Elementary. Those days hold special meaning to me because of students and families like yours. As I read the newspaper notice I had a rush of memories of Mickey and Ricky as students in Grimes Elementary gym class many years ago and a smile for having known them. These two young men were always pleasant and great role models - but supporting each other. They were well mannered and always willing to help but typical boys -a pleasure to have in any classroom. The obituary reflected Mickey's life was full and he remained true to his friends and family - especially to you, Ricky. A wonderful person and a close friend to my brother Tom. He always treated me kindly even being younger growing up in the neighborhood. I looked up to him and his wonderful brother. He will be greatly missed. It was a great honor to know him and recently be reacquainted.
