Maxfield "Max" M. Fuller
Obituary
Maxfield Munson “Max” Fuller was born July 4, 1994 in Tulsa to Gregg G. and Sadie Marie (Raynolds) Fuller. He passed away Monday, February 27, 2017 in University Park, Texas where he was a senior at Southern Methodist University.
Max was fiercely independent. He was an Eagle Scout and a high school graduate of Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics (OSSM). At Southern Methodist, he was a member of the SMU Honors Program, a Tower Scholar and a Dedman Pre-Law Scholar. He was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity.
He was an eager and accomplished traveler from the time he was little boy, traveling with his Grandpa Ron. Max attended schools in New Zealand and Tokyo, and summited Mount Fuji.
Max is survived by his parents, Gregg and Sadie Fuller of Tulsa; his sister, Frances Fuller; his grandparents Dr. A. M. and Vaughndean Fuller, grandmother, Barbara Martin and her husband, Dr. Steven Martin and grandfather Ron Raynolds; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins from both his Fuller and Raynolds families.
Following a private family burial, friends are invited to a reception from 2-4:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at the East Courtyard of First Presbyterian Church, 709 South Boston, Tulsa.
Friends may contribute in memory of Max to the The Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics Foundation, 1141 North Lincoln Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73104.

Gregg, Sadie, and family, I'm so sorry that it's taken this long to send my condolences about your loss of your son, Max. I lost my son too in 2017 so I've been in grief as well. I've known Max through First Presbyterian Church. I taught his sister in Sunday School. He was in Pathfinders with my daughter Maggie. I have never met such a genuinely sweet, caring individual as your son. He ALWAYS had a smile on his face and a loving heart for anybody he met. Also, I've been a patient of Dr. Fuller since I was in my early twenties. I remember seeing pictures of your son and of course the other grandchildren in his office. However, it seemed if I asked about them he had delight in bragging about his grandson Max. Actually, I can imagine the pain and emptiness it feels to lose a child and an only son. Please know I have thought constantly about your family and pray for any relief, comfort, and peace you may find. It is a club of which no parent wants to be a member. God bless all of you. I am so sad about losing Max. I don't know what to say when someone with so much to give is lost to all of us. The reception today was a wonderful show of how much Max and your family are loved by many people. Max was a young man that everyone knew would do great things, even as young as fourth grade. You raised a kind, smart, creative, and handsome young man. You did a great job of raising him. You should be so proud.

I remember you telling me about his attendance at OK School of Science & Mathematics, and his job working as a pharmacy tech. He seemed to be such an achiever, and a lover of exploring life.
