Mary Sue "Susie " (Gott) Treadwell was born July 1, 1923 in Muskogee, Oklahoma the daughter of James Vann and Mary Teresa "Molly" (Gladd) Gott. She completed this life on Monday, April 9, 2012 at the age of 88.
Susie graduated from Muskogee High and attended Muskogee Jr. College. Married James D. Treadwell on June 15, 1944, and worked as a secretary at Trinity United Methodist Church in Tulsa, OK for 25 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James D. Treadwell on January 2, 2007; and her only child James D. Treadwell, Jr. in 2000. Susie died on the twelfth anniversary of the death of her son.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Mrs. James D. (Pamela) Treadwell, Jr. of Ft. Gibson, OK; her Grandchildren, Aimee (Treadwell) Karnes and her husband Brian of Ft. Gibson, OK and James D. "Trey" Treadwell, III and his wife Marianne of Haymarket, VA; and, her great Grandchildren, Parker Jude and Avery Paige Treadwell, and Lauren Mckinley and Brenley Paige Karnes.
A Memorial service will be 11:00 am Friday, April 20, 2012 in the Boston Avenue Rose Chapel. Private family interment will be in the Starnes Cemetery East of Ft. Gibson.
