Mary Finney

FINNEY, Mary Nell, 82, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2006. Born January 18, 1924 in Tulsa. She was a vivacious shining light with unimaginable wisdom, wit and courage that delighted in laughter, grins and giggles every day of her life. Mary Nell is survived by: her "baby brother" Sid Lee (Maxine) of Tulsa and three daughters Michelle Taylor and Phyllis Hobbs (Donald) both of Carrollton, TX and Marilyn Rhoades (Blake) of Tulsa, OK; seven grandsons Rick and Ron Lobley of Sacramento, CA and Charlie Spruce of Tampa, FL, Justin Hobbs (Liz) of Carrollton, TX and Stephen, Adam and Mitchell Rhoades of Tulsa; one granddaughter Vangi (Vince) Maldonado; and great-granddaughters Chandler and Maya. She was preceded in death by her parents Sidney and Mary Louise Lee of Claremore, OK; grandson Preston Hobbs of Carrollton, TX; daughter's father Robert Francis Finney of Moore, OK; and longtime companion Robert Burns Goris, Tulsa. Loving "Aunt Roscoe" to Dennis (Jan) and Doug (Renee) Lee both of Tulsa. She was also preceded in death by a myriad of lifelong friends, cousins, great nephews and nieces. She was a 1942 Graduate of Will Rogers High School and owner of Kennel Shop for 23 years. Services Monday, March 13th noon at Memorial Park Chapel, Interment Memorial Park.
