Mary Catherine Sheehan

Catherine Sheehan, daughter of John and Amelia Fitzpatrick, was born at home in Skiatook, with her twin sister and very best friend of over 94 years, Dorothy McNamar. They were the “babies” in a family of nine children.

She could always be counted on to provide a smile and witty observation in nearly every circumstance: at home, in school, playing tennis, raising six children or in her travels.

Catherine, Mom and Grandma will be missed by all who knew her. Her six children include Nolan (Susan) Sheehan, Cathy (Craig) Wire, Paul (Andrea) Sheehan, Martin (Kathy) Sheehan, Maureen (Pete) Russo and Ida (Kim) Ford. Her family included 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Catherine will also be missed by numerous relatives and friends all across the country; many of whom will be celebrating her Life on 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 19th at Christ The King Church, where she was married 71 years ago.
