Mary "Bootsie" Evelyn Blattler

Mary Evelyn Blattler was born on January 9, 1922 in Ozan, AR to Grady and Mae (Stuart) Higgason.  “Bootsie” as she was affectionately known, passed from this life on Sunday, May 7, 2017 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 95.

Bootise was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Blattler and her sisters, Wilma Bennett and Margaret Webb. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Harel Bennett, her sister-in-law, Rosie Bennett, and many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews, and great grand nieces and nephews.

Bootsie spent most of her life as a caregiver to her family, and was blessed to have her love and devotion returned to her by her family, and many special caregivers, including her newest friend, Robert. Her neighbors, Fred and Linda Baker, deserve special thanks for the extraordinary acts of kindness given to Bootsie, and for adopting her as their "grandma".
