Mary Bland

Mary Glenda (Morris) Bland was born on September 24, 1937 in El Reno, OK to Glenn Breece Morris and Mary Catherine (Boyd) Morris. Mary passed from this life at her home on her birthday, September 24, 2013 at the age of 76.

Mary received her Doctorate degree in Education from Oklahoma State University. She worked several years for The Department of Human Services for the State of Oklahoma. She was a longtime member of Centenary United Methodist Church with her husband, Rev. Dick Bland.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Kay Morris. She is survived by her husband, Rev. Dick Bland, of the home; a daughter, Lela Kristen Bland-Myers, of Tulsa, OK; 3 sons, Phil Bland, of San Antonio, TX, Keith Bland, of Broken Arrow, OK and Daniel Bland, of Tulsa, OK; 2 sisters, Cindi Morris Kincaid, of Oklahoma City, OK and Vicki Weaver, of Eagle Nest, NM; 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; a nephew, Jonathan Morris, of Oklahoma City, OK; a niece, Nicole O'Brien, of Massachusetts and a brother-in-law, Philip Bland, of West Brookfield, MA.
