Mary Abbott

Mary Virginia (Crider) Abbott was born June 29, 1928 in Mounds, Oklahoma to William Jennings & Lena Maude (Harwell) Crider. Upon completion of her education she embarked on her career as a typist for wholesale hardware companies. She married her husband I. S. Kenneth Abbott in 1956 and enjoyed fifty-two years building a home and raising their children together.

Mary is survived by her husband, I. S. Kenneth Abbott; her sons, Tony and his wife Teresa Abbott of Claremore, Oklahoma and Mark and his wife Lucille Abbott of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Clint, Marcus, Kenny, Josh, Heather, Elisabeth, Jesse, Michal, Sophia, Kimberly, Krystal, and Alicia; her great grandchildren, Cheyenna, Ethan, Josalyn, Keely, and Frederick; as well as a host of friends and loved ones. She will be missed by all.

She will lie in state Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the funeral service being held 2:00 p.m. Friday, both at the Ninde Brookside Funeral Home. Final resting place at Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
