Hardesty, Martin Leon, 84, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2008 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at St. John's Hospital. Leon was born November 12, 1923 in Tulsa, OK the son of Mary and Gabe Hardesty. He served in the US Army Air Corp as a pilot during World War II and attended the University of Tulsa after the war. He was the owner of Hardesty's Jewelry and was the Frisco and Burlington Northern watch inspector for 45 years.Survivors: his wife of 65 years, Mary; sons: Donald W. Hardesty of Glendora, CA and Gary D. Hardesty of Tulsa, OK; his Grandchildren: Chris, Mike, Angela and Martin. Preceded in death by his oldest son, David L. Hardesty of Tulsa. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association. Service 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel.
