Obituary
Martin Allen Vaughan, WWII Army veteran, born February 27, 1927 in Shawnee, OK, died March 5, 2019 and is survived by his wife, Nancy. He loved the Young Men’s Bridge Club, art, music, poetry and his huge family of 9 children, 19 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and many dear friends. He graduated cum laude from Oklahoma Baptist University to become a geologist and work for Phillips Petroleum for 30 years, then joining Mustang Production, then the Mabee Foundation. He was a lifelong member of AAPG, AIPG, and the Society of Exploration Geophysicists.
Memorial Mass celebrating his life is at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 8 at St. Rita’s Chapel, Cascia Hall. In lieu of flowers, send donations to Cascia Hall Scholarship Fund.

As a geologist and friend, Martin was a mentor and role model for many of us. He was greatly appreciated and will be fondly remembered. It was a blessing and a privilege to have known him.
