Mark Junk

Mark Edward Junk was born to Edward M. and Sandra Lee (Heath) Junk in Tulsa, Oklahoma on April 6, 1961 and passed from this life March 13, 2011 at the age of 49.

After graduating from Jenks High School in 1979 Mark tried his hand at being a "cowboy for hire" for a bit. Then he joined the Navy and did a little traveling. After that Mark moved to Vegas and learned how to repair slot machines. He finally returned to Tulsa and followed his dad's footsteps in becoming a welder/pipefitter with the union. Mark had a few marriages here and there but finally figured out it wasn't for him. He spent the last fifteen months living with Mom and Dad and they are forever grateful for having some special times with him.

We still listen for your truck,

And expect you to walk in the door,

But we're so grateful Mark,

That your struggle here is no more.

Funny, musical, a thousand good things in one,

We'll catch you on the flipside Bub,

When our lives here on earth are done.

Mark is survived by his parents; his sisters, Kim Marie Wade and Tracy Lee Cotton. A private family service will be held and he will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Sapulpa Animal Shelter, 515 E. Fife, Sapulpa, OK 74066.
