Obituary
Marguerite Yvonne (Alexander) Silkey, 88, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 in the Skiatook Nursing Center in Skiatook, OK.
She was born June 5, 1921 in Tolbert, Texas the daughter of Walter Eugene and Bertie (Priddy) Alexander.
She married Robert Cloyd Silkey on May 17, 1939. They were married for 68 years when he preceded her in death on October 13, 2007.
She is survived by her daughters: Yvonne Ford of Tulsa and Sandra Bradford and her husband John of Skiatook; her sister: Gladys Hale of Catoosa, OK; six Grandchildren, 16 great Grandchildren and seven great, great Grandchildren.
Service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday in the Immanuel Baptist Church in Skiatook (625 S. Broadway) Interment will follow in Memorial Park cemetery.
