Margaret "Mockey" Ruth (Mitchell) Henson was born June 25, 1929 in Strang, Oklahoma the daughter of Walter C. and Vera Mae (Elliott) Mitchell. She completed this life on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at her home in Tulsa at the age of 82.
Mockey graduated from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah with a degree in Education. She taught school for a number of years and later worked as an administrative assistant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Grey Henson, on November 30, 1999. Paul was a longtime Tulsa Fire Fighter. Mockey was always very supportive of the fire fighters.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Memorial Park cemetery Chapel with entombment in the Memorial Park Mausoleum.
