Obituary
Lucy Faye Rynders was born on September 23, 1943 in Pensacola, FL to Eugene Sanders Forsyth and Minnie (Boyington) Forsyth. Lucy passed from this life surrounded by her family on Thursday, January 2, 2014.
Lucy graduated from high school in Memphis, Tennessee in 1960. She married Franklin E. Rynders, her husband of 47 years, on February 23, 1961 in Hot Springs, AR. Lucy, with her husband, owned The Market Place grocery store in Denison, Texas for many years until retiring and moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma to be closer to family.
Lucy was preceded in death by her husband Frank in 2009. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Kami and Richard Hoar and her granddaughter Elayne Hoar; her son Michael Rynders; her sister Rose Ann Smith; and her brother Eugene Sanders Forsyth, Jr.
A private family memorial will be held. The family requests memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, to Town & Country School, 8906 E. 34th St., Tulsa, OK 74145. http://www.TandCSchool.org.
