Loretta Lou Biggs

Loretta Lou Biggs was born on September 11, 1939, in French Camp, California to Lee Edward Odle and Dorothy Ovalee Odle. Loretta passed from this life on August 22, 2026.

Loretta enjoyed her family and friends with the greatest of enthusiasm. She went to Tracy High School and on December 25, 1955, married the love of her life, Edward Kelly Biggs. They spent the next 62 years together until Ed’s passing in 2018.

Ed and Loretta had two boys, Greg and Jeff, who grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Their childhood was fun filled and adventuress with yearly trips to California to visit relatives, flying with Ed, or camping and hunting and fishing trips.

Loretta was always meticulous about her housework and yard upkeep. Before weed eaters were invented, she would edge the grass with hand clippers. She was a great cook that her family thoroughly enjoys to this day, especially her apple pie! When family visited they almost always asked for one of her special family recipes, enchiladas, tacos, or macaroni and cheese.

Loretta and Ed traveled the world in their later years and always had great stories to tell when they got home.

Her grandchildren, Ryan and Erin and great grandsons, Luke, Lane, Grant and Jace were a special delight, and she always enjoyed when they were together. Mom taught us how to treat people and about life, we looked up to her our entire life!
