Lois Eva Stiver

Lois E. Stiver, age 87, passed from this life on Friday, December 25, 2015 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Stiver was born in Topeka, Kansas on January 10, 1928 to Harry M. and Edith (Gray) Ashton.

Prior to her marriage in 1954, she was a commercial artist. She was a homemaker for the rest of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles and her sisters, Doris Ann and Lucile.

She is survived by her son, Greg and daughter Sherri of Tulsa, daughter Debbie Torbett and husband Tim Torbett of Collinsville, four grandchildren, Matthew Torbett, Stephanie Torbett, and Melissa Torbett of Collinsville, Trevan Torbett and wife Jessica of Owasso. She is also survived by her brother, Don Ashton and wife Lynn, of Tulsa and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial may be made to the Flower Fund of First United Methodist Church of Tulsa, 1115 S. Boulder Tulsa, OK. where Lois was a lifelong member,

Lois and Charles were members of the Joynor class of First United Methodist Church of Tulsa. Lois especially enjoyed volunteering with the Flower Ministry.
