Linda Loughridge

Linda Faye (Harrell) Loughridge was born April 24, 1940 in Ardmore, OK to James H. and Faye (Sloan) Harrell. She passed from this life surrounded by her family Thursday, August 16, 2012 at the age of 72.

Linda was a graduate of Ardmore High School and received her degree from Oklahoma University where she was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority. She was very active in the Tulsa community as a volunteer and fundraiser. Among her many contributions, she was actively involved with the Red Glove Revue, Tulsa County Medical Society, American Heart Association, St. John Medical Center, Junior League of Tulsa, Tulsa Opera and Tulsa Philharmonic. She was also a longtime member of Boston Avenue Methodist Church.

Linda was a loving wife and mother, and she adored her grandchildren. She is survived by husband of 51 years, Dr. Bill Loughridge; daughters and sons-in-laws, Laurie and Matt Wollmershauser, Lisa and Eivind Olsen, Amy Loughridge and Jay Acquaviva; her grandchildren, Bailey, Justin and Tyler Wollmershauser, Gunnar and Talle Olsen; and, her brother, James Harrell.

Friends may contribute in Linda's memory to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or the charity of their choice.
